Catharine Blaine K-8 PTA is a registered nonprofit corporation.  Our tax identification number is 91-1116257.

Thank you for considering a donation to the Blaine Rock the Block Fundraiser. The Catharine Blaine K-8 PTA funds many of the programs that make our school an exceptional place for children to learn and grow. Blaine also has the unique opportunity of being both a territory-based K-5 and a choice based 6-8 school, which ultimately impacts SPS funding support. That being said, we rely very heavily on PTA support which is a parent volunteer run organization for important educational programs that fall outside of SPS budgeted funding. 

Our goal to continue our PTA-funded programs for the 2024/25 school year is to raise $70k. We really appreciate you considering helping to support our efforts! 

This year, we are hosting a neighborhood block party, on 32nd between Smith and Raye streets, complete with online bidding, live performances, food trucks, beverages, lawn games, and more. Your support of the auction positions your business in front of hundreds of families within and outside of the Blaine community, who all live and work in Magnolia and all around Seattle. 

Auction proceeds are vital to our ability to help our students meet the academic and life challenges of their future.
